Why This Role Matters

Data is at the heart of what we do. As a Big Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for turning complex data sets into clear, actionable insights for our clients and teams. You’ll extract and interpret data from multiple sources, build reliable data pipelines, and present your findings in a way that drives decision-making across the business. Your work will help us optimize products, measure performance, and deliver value to customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Pull and interpret data from complex sources such as data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts to create accurate and timely reports.
  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data workflows that deliver data to internal and external stakeholders efficiently and reliably.
  • Partner with product managers and researchers to translate business questions into data questions, and data into insights that inform product improvements and client outcomes.
  • Build reusable scripts and tools in SQL, Python and PySpark to process large datasets and support analytics.
  • Apply analytical and statistical techniques to discover trends, opportunities, and improvement areas across our platforms.
  • Present findings in a clear, engaging way, from dashboards to written analyses, to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Continuously improve our analytics processes by incorporating feedback and identifying optimizations that increase accuracy and efficiency.

What You Bring

  • 1–2 years of experience working with data warehousing and large-scale datasets.
  • Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python and PySpark for data extraction and analysis.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (such as AWS) and data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or similar.
  • A knack for transforming quantitative data into clear, actionable insights and an eye for detail when validating results.
  • Collaborative approach to problem-solving - you enjoy working with product, engineering, and business teams to get to the “why.”
  • Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies and to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience with visualization or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for data storytelling.
  • Exposure to marketing intelligence, location data, or measurement domains.
