Summary:

As a Product Owner, you will be working closely with other product managers and our engineers, designers, integrations, and operations teams to deliver impactful solutions that improve clinician experiences and patient care. You will work with an agile product development team as a product owner, helping define requirements, manage backlog priorities, and support the successful delivery of customer-facing products. We’re looking for a high potential product contributor who deeply understands and can champion our internal and external customers in a complex B2B environment, and who is comfortable using AI tools to work faster and smarter, and who can bring examples of putting them to real use — not just familiarity with the concept.

What You’ll Do:

  • Learn from senior team members and gain experience in all aspects of product ownership, contributing to the team's success by providing insights and assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with PMs (Product Managers) and cross-functional teams to define product requirements and features and work closely with engineering to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Communicate product status, progress, and upcoming releases to stakeholders, executives, and customers.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, including internal user guides and release notes.
  • Monitor key product metrics and analytics to identify areas of improvement and make data-driven decisions.
  • Use AI-supported tools to speed up day-to-day PO work — drafting requirements, summarizing customer feedback, writing release notes, or researching a problem space.
  • Bring a working knowledge of at least one AI tool (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) and apply it where it genuinely saves time, rather than treating it as an occasional experiment.

What Success Looks Like…

In 3 months…

  • Develop a strong understanding of Bamboo Health's products, customers, development processes, and tools.
  • Actively participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization discussions.
  • Independently document requirements, maintain product artifacts, and support release communications.
  • Begin incorporating AI tools into recurring workflows such as documentation, research, and requirements development.

In 6 months…

  • You are working closely with your PM (Product Manager) and team to create a metrics and instrumentation framework to identify opportunities to unblock growth.
  • You are collaborating with the Design team and your PM to run qualitative and quantitative user and customer research that drives feature design and prioritization.
  • You partner with your PM on high-level requirements, then own breaking those down into execution-ready requirements and managing the work through release and launch.
  • You own and maintain your area's near-term planned working, working closely with your PM to make sure the upcoming sprint work is well-defined, ready for execution., and aligns with quarterly roadmap priorities.

In 12 months…

  • You are the go-to subject matter expert on your product area — able to speak to current functionality, in-progress work, and what's coming next quarter without needing to check with your PM first.
  • You operate in lockstep with your PM, managing the day-to-day execution of the backlog and sprint work while your PM focuses on strategy and stakeholder alignment.
  • You proactively flag risks to the current quarter's plan and help keep next quarter's planning on track — surfacing dependencies, gaps, or blockers before they become problems.
  • You are trusted to represent your product area's status, priorities, and current state to internal stakeholders and customers with minimal oversight.

What You Need:

  • You have a strong desire and willingness to learn product management and product development concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • You have 2+ years of business analyst, product owner, or APM experience with a product that people use as a regular part of their daily work.
  • You have experience driving projects with a predictable cadence and involving multiple stakeholders from diverse disciplines.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A high level of judgment, analytical ability, and creativity in investigating problems that require original and innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated use of AI-supported tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) in prior work or coursework — you can describe a specific way you've used one to save time or improve output, even if your overall work history is limited.
  • Comfort learning new AI and automation tools quickly and applying them without needing detailed instructions.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly evolving environments.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment on an East Coast schedule, ensuring high-quality virtual interactions with minimal distractions.
  • The ability to travel periodically for work.

What You Get:

  • Join one of the most innovative healthcare technology companies in the country.
  • Have the autonomy to build something with an enthusiastically supportive team.
  • Learn from working at the highest levels and on the most strategic priorities of the company, including from world class investors and advisors.
  • Receive competitive compensation including health, dental, vision and other benefits.
