We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team. As Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the organization's general ledger and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in GL accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage the organization's general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Perform financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making and drive business growth.
- Assist the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are met and financial statements are prepared accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date, and to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
- Provide support to internal and external auditors and manage audit processes.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

What You Need:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Experience with ERP systems, Netsuite required.
- A work environment that is conducive to high quality virtual interactions. This includes but is not limited to being able to work from a quiet space with minimal interruptions or distractions, and a strong internet connection.
- The ability to travel periodically for work.
- A high level of judgment, analytical ability and creativity in investigating problems that require original and innovative solutions.
