 Summary:

 

Bamboo Health is assembling a team of compassionate clinicians dedicated to improving access to care for those in need. We are seeking a Clinical Administrative Support Specialist to assist our Care Navigation clinical team in revolutionizing how people access behavioral health care. This is a contract hourly position, working less than 20 hours per week. You will collaborate with the team to optimize Care Navigators' time spent directly with patients, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment. Our care delivery model focuses on engaging, assessing, and building trust with individuals experiencing moderate to severe mental health and substance use disorders, guiding them to essential behavioral health, primary care, and social services. You will operate within a team-based framework, striving for outcomes that are meaningful to both the individuals we serve and our provider and payer partners.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

·       Enter data from incoming patient care coordination requests into Salesforce Health Cloud.

·       Update Salesforce Health Cloud with patient-specific tasks following our engagement protocols.

·       Communicate with outpatient treatment providers via phone to confirm appointment attendance.

·       Update patient lists based on daily census reports from inpatient treatment providers.

·       Collaborate with hospital discharge planners to coordinate discharge notifications and appointment details.

·       Create and maintain schedules for clinical staff.

·       Support the operations team in identifying processes for automation and implementation.

·       Work with the clinical team to enhance the quality of care provided.

 

What You Need:

 

·       2 years of experience in outpatient clinical office roles, either in brick-and-mortar or virtual medical or behavioral health practices.

·       Experience with technology solutions that support clinical workflows.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

·       Familiarity with Salesforce Health Cloud is preferred but not required.

·       Empathy and a strong commitment to reducing barriers to behavioral health and social services for underserved populations.

·       Strong oral and written communication skills.

·       Ability to navigate ambiguity and embrace challenges with resilience and flexibility.

·       Experience in fast-paced, rapidly changing work environments.
