As a Senior Staff Solutions Architect at Bamboo Health, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance solutions that align with the company’s strategic goals. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver innovative features and enhancements, providing technical leadership and guidance throughout the development lifecycle. You will also identify opportunities for system integration, define architectural patterns, and ensure alignment with the overall solution architecture. As a subject matter expert, you will consult on emerging technologies, software design patterns, and contribute to the long-term vision for the company’s product offerings. A deep understanding of software systems, healthcare technology, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams will be essential in driving impactful business outcomes.
 
What You’ll Do:
  • Design and led the implementation of scalable, high-performance solutions ensuring they align with business goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams
  • Identify opportunities to leverage and integrate with existing applications, components, and sub-systems
  • Identify source of data and how to procure, extract and ingest the data
  • Define interaction between components & sub-systems (communication protocol, technology stack, API contracts, granularity of data transfer)
  • Define architectural patterns for developing the components & sub-systems (microservices, bulk parallel processing, data storage strategy, data management strategy, reporting strategy, messaging)
  • Review technical implementations for alignment with the overall solution architecture
  • Interact with business for all major capability enhancements (roadmap) and provide/own the proposed architectural solution. Participate in road mapping activities with all stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance & consultation on software design patterns, tools, technology
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

  • You will have a deep understanding of our software solutions and platforms and have contributed to the design and implementation of key features.
 
In 6 months…
  • You will have led the solution architecture of major projects 
 
In 12 months…
  • You will have established yourself as a key technical leader within the organization and have driven initiatives of significant business value
 
What You Need:
  • BS in Computer Science, a relevant field of study, or equivalent experience. MS or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience as an architect, project manager or developer building world-class applications.
  • Expertise in cloud technologies, programming languages and frameworks.
  • Knowledgeable about all phases of the software development life cycle.
  • Knowledge of modern software engineering principles and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Experience working a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing work environments. 
  • A high level of judgment, analytical ability, and creativity in investigating problems that require original and innovative solutions.
  • A work environment that is conducive to high quality virtual interactions. This includes but is not limited to being able to work from a quiet space with minimal interruptions or distractions, and a strong internet connection.
  • The ability to travel periodically for work.
