Summary:
We are seeking a Salesforce Product Owner to lead enhancements and optimization of our Salesforce Health Cloud platform in direct support of our Care Navigation team. This role is responsible for identifying workflow inefficiencies, delivering platform improvements, and managing the Salesforce roadmap. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders, partner with our Salesforce Architect for complex development needs, and report to a Director of Product Management. As a member of the Product organization, you will be empowered to make direct, high-impact changes within Salesforce.
What You’ll Do:
· Support the day-to-day configuration and improvement of Salesforce Health Cloud to meet Care Navigation team needs.
· Make hands-on updates in Salesforce, including Flows, automation, field creation, and user permission changes.
· Build and maintain reports and dashboards to enable operational visibility and performance tracking.
· Ensure changes align with best practices in data integrity, system security, and user experience.
· Leverage AI-supported tools (e.g., field recommendations, formula generation, or query assistance) to speed up configuration and reduce friction during development.
· Partner with Care Navigation team members to identify workflow needs and opportunities for enhancement.
· Recommend and implement Salesforce updates based on direct feedback and system analysis.
· Use structured feedback and lightweight AI-enabled inputs (e.g., tagging patterns or summarizing open feedback) to prioritize improvements.
· Collaborate with the Director of Product Management to maintain and update the Salesforce roadmap.
· Write and refine user stories and requirements based on stakeholder input.
· Prioritize backlog items and prepare materials for sprint planning and QA testing.
Cross-Functional Support
· Partner with the Salesforce Architect on complex platform and integration projects.
· Coordinate with QA and engineering teams as needed to support high-quality releases.
· Participate in product team discussions, providing input on internal workflow design and system usability.
What Success Looks Like....
In 3 Months...
· You’ve built strong working relationships with Care Navigation stakeholders and understand their workflows and key challenges.
· You’ve delivered initial Salesforce improvements based on direct user feedback.
· You’re contributing to user story development and supporting backlog grooming in partnership with the Product team.
In 6 Months....
· You are independently implementing and testing Salesforce updates that improve workflow efficiency and user experience.
· You’ve documented and organized a clear backlog of user needs and feature requests, with stories written and prioritized collaboratively.
· You’re supporting the Salesforce Architect on integration or platform-level tasks with clear communication and execution readiness.
In 12 Months...
· You are a go-to resource for Salesforce Health Cloud improvements within the Care Navigation domain.
· You’ve delivered enhancements that have demonstrably improved productivity and reduced manual work for end users.
· You regularly contribute to roadmap planning and participate in cross-functional discussions to help scale and optimize Salesforce solutions across the team.
What You Need:
· 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, ideally with exposure to Health Cloud or healthcare workflows.
· Experience with Salesforce configuration tools (e.g., Flows, Process Builder, field, and page layout management).
· Skilled in creating reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
· Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
· Comfort managing competing requests with an eye for clarity and prioritization.
· High standards for documentation, testing, and quality assurance.
· Salesforce certifications (e.g., Admin, Advanced Admin, Health Cloud) and experience with Tableau are a plus.
· Comfort using or learning AI-supported tools (e.g., ChatGPT, CoPilot, or role-specific tools) to improve daily workflows.
· A forward-thinking, curious mindset with an openness to experimenting with new technologies.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and creativity in designing solutions.
· Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly evolving environments.
· Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment, ensuring high-quality virtual interactions with minimal distractions.
· The ability to travel periodically for team events.
