About the role

Barron Lighting Group is a leader in manufacturing and marketing its comprehensive line of lighting solutions for commercial and industrial applications. We’re looking to grow our business with innovative people who can contribute to our company culture and vision.  As the Inside Sales Manager, you will manage a team of inside sales representatives, customer service representatives and data entry employees to ensure service levels are met or exceeded. You will monitor and measure service metrics and utilize these metrics to develop standards, improvements, or changes to process as well as make recommendations for changes to products or services based on customer feedback and requests.  

What you'll do

  • Provide leadership and guidance to all Inside Sales Representatives, Customer Service, and Data Entry teams including discipline and coaching in the event customer needs are not being met.
  • Directly handles email, calls and requests as needed from customers.
  • Works independently on complex issues and projects. Analyzes data for adherence to budget,
  • goals, and other financial targets for management.
  • Review, research and release sales-related order holds to ensure that orders do not get held up in the sales department
  • Review daily alerts for potential pricing, system or quoting errors and works with brand, production and engineering teams to correct inaccurate data.
  • Evaluates, enforces, and revises processes for order placement, quoting and billing to drive
  • needed change within the business.
  • Serves as primary functional contact with other internal departments, and interfaces with
  • business units on behalf of Sales
  • Assists in negotiation and preparation of quotes.
  • Create development plans for the team, monitor successful completion, and analyze team performance and trending to hit key performance indicators for each team member.
  • $75,000- $85,000 annual salary plus commission.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ management experience in Sales and Customer Service atmospheres.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Experience in CRM software management is a plus.
  • Proven track record of success.
  • Computer proficiency with Google Workspace a plus
  • Up to 25% travel

The pay range for this role is:

75,000 - 90,000 USD per year (Barron Office)
