About the role

Barron Lighting Group is a leader in manufacturing and marketing its comprehensive line of lighting solutions for commercial and industrial applications. We’re looking to grow our business with innovative people who can contribute to our company culture and vision.  As Production Lead, you will be responsible for daily management and support for the Production team to achieve operational success.

What you'll do

  • Assign and delegate tasks and responsibilities to the production team based on priority.
  • Supervise employees when Production Supervisor is not available.
  • Lead by example - work side-by-side with the team on the production floor.
  • Monitor production processes closely to ensure operations are efficient, troubleshoot any issues promptly, and maintain clear communication with management regarding production statuses and updates.
  • Serve as a liaison between the production floor and management.
  • Develop and maintain a productive team through ongoing training and professional development opportunities
  • Collaborate with the planning team to forecast production needs and set targets.
  • Take corrective action as necessary in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent of education and experience required
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft outlook, Word, Excel
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours+, lift 25-30 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs)
  • Personal protective equipment, including gloves, safety glasses, and aprons, is required.
WORKING CONDITIONS: This position could have possible exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and risk of radiation and vibration.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to hot, and/or humid conditions. Protective clothing or equipment may be required including gloves, shoes, and protective eyewear.

The pay range for this role is:

20 - 24.50 USD per hour (Barron Office)
