Barry’s is the Best Workout in the WorldTM®. Founded in West Hollywood in 1998, it’s the original strength and cardio interval fitness experience that provides an immersive, high-intensity, one-hour workout that’s as effective as it is fun. Our fitness classes alternate between working out with weights and running on a treadmill. Each day focuses on a different muscle group in order to achieve real results and to prevent injuries. Our program is designed to tone muscle and maximize fat loss, while spiking the metabolism for up to 48 hours following the class.

About the role


The Graphic Designer will play a key role in bringing the Barry’s brand to life through compelling content across digital, print, and in-studio channels. This role will be responsible for creating engaging motion graphics, animations, and video assets across marketing, retail, and digital platforms, as well as static design content such as digital ads, social assets, and in-studio signage. The ideal candidate is highly creative, detail-oriented, and fluent in both design principles and motion storytelling.


What you'll do

  • Conceptualize, design, and produce motion graphics and static assets (social posts, digital ads, emails, print collateral, in-studio materials) that align with brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with the Retail, Marketing, and Digital teams to develop content for social media, campaigns, in-studio screens, websites, and paid media
  • Translate brand direction and campaign concepts into dynamic motion assets that resonate with diverse audiences
  • Edit and enhance video content with graphics, typography, and special effects
  • Ensure all deliverables meet technical specifications across platforms and devices
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines within a fast-paced environment
  • Stay current on design trends, motion techniques, and emerging digital media platforms
  • Support special projects and cross-functional creative initiatives as assigned
  • Support brand campaigns and initiatives with both motion and static deliverables
  • Ensure all visual outputs (motion and static) are consistent with brand guidelines and visual identity.
  • Innovation & Creativity: Generates new ideas, embraces exploration, and applies creative problem-solving to elevate design work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of professional experience in motion design, animation, or digital content creation
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; proficiency in Figma or similar digital design tools a plus; Cinema 4D or similar 3D software also a plus
  • Strong design foundation in typography, color, and composition
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both motion and graphic design work
  • Experience creating assets for social media, digital campaigns, and branded content
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and deliver high-quality work on tight timelines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset

The pay range for this role is:

80,000 - 80,000 USD per year (New York)
