What You’ll Be Doing 

This isn’t just a job—it’s a calling. This role exists to help people advance in their journey with Christ in Tulsa, America, and the World. Whether you're leading teams, crafting meaningful experiences, or working behind the scenes, your role at BattleCreek Church makes an eternal impact! 

The Creator is a versatile content producer who can flex across photography, video, and design needs to serve the mission of BattleCreek Church. This role acts as a one-stop shop for capturing, editing, and producing content that communicates the gospel with clarity and excellence. From Sunday recap photos to short-form story videos to supporting graphics, the Creator helps fuel both in-room ministry and digital engagement. Please note, this role operates on a Sunday-Thursday schedule.  

Your Day-to-Day 

Every day looks different, but here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be up to: 

• Bring stories to life through photo, video, and design, creating content that captures what God is doing across our church.
• Jump in where needed, whether that’s filming an interview, editing a recap, designing a graphic, or helping shape a campaign.
• Manage projects from start to finish - planning, shooting, editing, and delivering creative content that’s clear, compelling, and on-brand.
• Keep digital assets organized and accessible for use across campuses, ministries, and communication channels.
• Collaborate with your teammates to execute creative projects that serve and support the church.
• Stay flexible and proactive, ready to meet deadlines, adapt to feedback, and elevate each project with excellence.

What We’re Looking For 

The must-haves for this role: 

• Experience & Knowledge Required:
• • 3+ years professional creative experience, with a demonstrable passion for making creative content on a spectrum of media platforms - social, streaming, AR, music, film, interactive, etc.
  • Videography/Photography: DSLR
  • Editing: Final Cut / After Effects
  • Writing: Google Docs / Word
  • Art/Design: Adobe Suite / Google Slides / Canva
  • Extraordinary content creation skills, capable of execution from start to finish, with a passion for various kinds of creative outlets including design, video, editing and writing
  • Responsible, accountable, and self starter who demonstrates initiative
  • Ability to collaborate with the individuals of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and positive results.

Success in This Role Looks Like 

• High-quality content is consistently produced and delivered across photo, video, and design. 

• The Creator can step into filmmaking or design as needed to support the team during high-demand seasons. 

• Storytelling through short-form video highlights how God is moving in and through the church. 

• The photo archive and creative assets are organized, accessible, and leveraged across ministries. 

• All creative output reflects excellence, consistency, and alignment with BattleCreek’s mission. 

The Essentials 

Depending on the role, you might find yourself in an office, on stage, out in the community, or working behind the scenes. Evening and weekend hours may be required—it’s all part of ministry life! 

This role is primarily office-based but may involve some physical activity, including standing, lifting (up to 20 pounds), kneeling, setting up equipment, or prepping for events—sometimes even late at night. Don’t worry; we’ll ensure you know what to expect!
