Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative

Key Responsibilities:

Order Entry & Processing:

  • Accurately enter and process customer orders via phone, email, and online platforms
  • Review orders for completeness, pricing accuracy, and product availability
  • Coordinate with internal departments (shipping, accounting, etc.) to ensure timely fulfillment

Customer Service:

  • Handle inbound customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, order status, and support issues
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
  • Maintain customer records and documentation within the CRM system

Outbound Sales & Retention:

  • Proactively contact existing customers to build relationships, address needs, and uncover new opportunities
  • Follow up on quotes, backorders, and lapsed accounts to support customer retention
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and relay them to the appropriate sales rep when needed


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or order entry preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable with outbound calling and relationship-building
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/order entry systems (e.g., Salesforce, Acumatica, NetSuite)

The pay range for this role is:

40,000 - 50,000 USD per year (Barens - PA)
