Environmental Health and Safety Program Manager

Founded in 2020, the company is headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, with additional facilities in Knoxville, Tennessee, Loveland Ohio, and Mount Vernon, Ohio. Role Overview:


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Program Manager to lead EHS initiatives across our additive manufacturing operations. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust EHS framework that ensures regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across all production sites. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of traditional and advanced manufacturing environments, research and development, and testing environments.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs, training, and tools; and support the continuous improvement of the Beehive EHS Management System and strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Environmental regulations (e.g., Air Quality, EPCRA, SARA, RCRA, etc) through comprehensive written documentation, training, and tracking systems.
  • Collaborate across all Departments to identify new projects and innovations; assess risks and mitigation solutions, and incorporate into EHS Management system.
  • Conduct and coordinate EHS audits, hazard assessments, and inspections at corporate and site levels.
  • Create and deliver EHS training programs for executive leadership, technicians, and engineering teams, including safety protocols for 3D printers, emergency response, powder handling, and chemical storage.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and facilities teams to integrate EHS best practices into product and process development.
  • Monitor and analyze EHS metrics; report findings and make data-driven recommendations to leadership.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in EHS roles, with at least 3 years in a corporate or multi-site leadership position within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT) and industry-specific standards for additive manufacturing

 

Preferred Qualifications: (any skill that could be a plus)

  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence frameworks.
  • Experience with ISO standards
  • Proficiency in EHS management software (e.g., EHS Insight, Enablon, VelocityEHS, Sphera).
  • Experience with Additive Manufacturing, Aerospace, Jet Engine and component testing.
  • Master’s degree or EHS certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM).

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $117,000-$178,000 base salary.  Please note that wage information is a general guideline only, and we will consider factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
