HR Specialist

Role Overview:

We are seeking an organized, people-oriented HR Specialist to join our team and play a key role in delivering a positive employee and candidate experience. This role is responsible for supporting a wide range of HR functions, with a focus on talent acquisition coordination, onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and process improvement.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end onboarding process, including new hire paperwork, orientation coordination, and compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, facilitating a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Act as an employee advocate by proactively identifying opportunities to improve workplace culture, communication, and satisfaction.
  • Champion initiatives that foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive employee experience across all stages of the employee lifecycle.
  • Manage HRIS data entry and document management throughout onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with other shared services departments to ensure accurate and timely new hire setup.
  • Provide first-line HR support to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and general inquiries.
  • Support leave of absence administration, including tracking, reporting, and employee communications.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in the HRIS (Rippling).
  • Provide operational support for HR programs including the performance management cycle, engagement surveys, and talent reviews.
  • Assist in drafting and implementing new HR policies and maintaining current SOPs in alignment with internal and external standards.
  • Monitor trends and analyze data in areas such as employee relations, performance, and attrition to support continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline HR processes based on employee feedback and system capabilities.


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an HR, talent acquisition, or HR operations role.
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms.
  • Experience in performance management processes, including goal setting and development plans.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proven track record in driving employee engagement and fostering a positive work culture.
  • Ability to navigate and interpret HR regulations and legal requirements.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP, PHR.
