About the role

• Mail Runs:
• • Happens 4 times a day: 10 am(ANC), Noon (one to ANC one to Main Campus), 2 pm (ANC and New brighton post office)
  • Pick up interoffice and incoming mail from the Bethel Post Office and deliver it to department mail stops 
  • Retrieve mail from department mail stops and return it to the Bethel Post Office
  • Once a Day drop off outgoing USPS mail at the New Brighton Post Office Annex  
•  Package service center attendant: 
• • Check incoming packages into the campus computer system, properly organize student and staff packages for pick up or delivery. Verify Identities and distribute packages for pickup   
  • Provide basic customer service for common issues

Qualifications

• Must be a current Bethel Student
• Strong Organizational skills
• Problem solving 
• Attention to detail 
• Works independently
• Punctuality
• Drivers Licence
• Basic Computer Skills (Typing, Scanning) 
• Reading

Work Environment:

This role moves around to deliver mail:

• 85% inside
• 5% car (driving)
• 10% Outside possibly in inclement weather 

Physical Demands:

• Stand or walk for up to an hour
• Reach or bend to take things off of shelves
• Carry up to 25-30LBS

Expected Hours of Work:

3-5 hours per week.
