Senior Product Manager - Range Modeling & Analytics

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager, Range Modeling & Analytics who excels at diving deep into complex domains, understanding how users actually work, and building products that transform their workflows.

This role is about mastering compensation range modeling – how companies design salary structures, define grades and ranges, and build the architecture that governs how they pay people. It's a technical, nuanced domain where deep customer understanding is essential. You'll spend real time with progressive compensation leaders, learn how they think about this work, and build solutions that evolve industry practices.

You'll own the product strategy for range modeling and integrated analytics. That means shipping capabilities like job-based ranges, advancing our core modeling tools, and ensuring users can understand the impact of their decisions without leaving their workflow. You'll also establish the foundation for AI-assisted modeling that makes complex compensation work more intuitive.

We're not looking for someone who already knows compensation inside-out (though that's a bonus). We're looking for someone who's thrived in complex, technical domains before – whether fintech, healthcare, HR tech, legal tech, or operations software – and has the customer discovery chops and domain learning ability to do it again here.

What you’ll do:

  • Master the range modeling domain – become the expert in how compensation teams design salary structures, understand the practices and decisions that matter, and identify opportunities for innovation
  • Own the Range Modeling & Analytics product strategy – define and deliver a roadmap that advances our modeling capabilities and transforms how customers get insights from their compensation data
  • Drive deep customer discovery – spend real time with users understanding their workflows, uncover needs beneath stated requests, and synthesize signals into compelling product vision
  • Enable AI-assisted modeling and reporting – deliver capabilities that help users model structures and generate reports through natural interaction
  • Partner across functions – collaborate with engineering, design, customer success, sales, and data analysts

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS with a track record of shipping valuable products
  • Proven ability to master complex domains – you've landed in technical or specialized areas (fintech, healthcare, HR, legal, ops) and quickly developed deep expertise and credible product strategy
  • Exceptional customer discovery skills – you spend real time with users, uncover genuine needs, and build trust with domain experts. You're credible and inspiring with customers.
  • Product strategy and execution – you define roadmaps with clear rationale, prioritize effectively, and drive outcomes through delivery
  • Strong PM fundamentals – you write clear requirements, work hands-on through delivery details, and balance strategy with execution
  • Cross-functional collaboration – you build strong partnerships across product, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams
  • Nice to have: compensation or HR domain experience, experience with AI/ML products, analytics product experience

Why you’ll love it:

This is a chance to define the future of an entire product domain. You'll own range modeling and analytics with clear customer needs, engineering partnership, and organizational support to deliver real impact.

You'll work with a focused, high-performing team – we're thoughtful about how we build, nimble enough to move fast, and committed to sustainable pace. Your ideas ship quickly – with a pace you can maintain.

You'll become a domain expert in compensation – working directly with progressive compensation leaders who'll teach you how they think about this work. Not requirements filtered through others, but deep relationships where you learn from the best.

You'll ship capabilities that change how customers work – job-based ranges, AI-assisted modeling, and integrated analytics that transform compensation workflows.

You'll shape how AI transforms this space – building on customer-validated prototypes to establish patterns that could define the category.

And you'll help shape how we do product – we're ambitious about our product craft, and you'll be an active part of that journey.
