Manager, Product Management (Data Operations Transformation)

About the role

We’re looking for a Manager, Product Management (Data Operations Transformation) – a hybrid role that bridges product strategy and operational execution with a clear mandate for transformation. You’ll lead the small but mighty team responsible for managing customer data processing today, while also driving the multi-year journey to eliminate manual data operations through smart automation and AI-driven innovation.

In this role, you’ll balance two missions: keeping today’s data operations running smoothly while architecting the systems, tools, and processes that will make them obsolete. You’ll collaborate with engineering, design, and customer success to define a bold, continuing the iterative path toward full automation – one that tackles the highest-impact bottlenecks first and unlocks powerful new capabilities for customers to manage their own data.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and execute the roadmap for transforming data operations – combining near-term efficiency gains with long-term automation and AI-driven improvements.
  • Partner with engineering and design as the PM for data initiatives, prioritizing opportunities that deliver measurable value for both internal teams and customers.
  • Lead and develop the Data Operations team, including training, prioritization, and performance.
  • Oversee daily and seasonal data file processing to ensure timely, high-quality delivery for customers while continuously driving toward smarter, automated solutions.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with external survey houses to make incoming data more efficient and reliable, while also exploring ways to help shape future industry-wide data output standards.
  • Use data to inform prioritization, measure progress, and celebrate milestones along the transformation journey.

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in data-centric or process-oriented systems.
  • 2+ years of experience managing and optimizing an operations function.
  • Proven success leading teams that manage complex data-driven processes.
  • A strong systems mindset – able to see both the process-level detail and the bigger automation roadmap.
  • Experience partnering with engineers on building tools, integrations, or automation systems.
  • Curiosity and comfort working with AI technologies to reimagine data workflows and user processes.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a hands-on approach to collaboration.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, high-growth scale-up environment.
  • Python proficiency is highly desirable – it’ll help you collaborate more effectively with the data operations team.
