Cloud Architect (AWS & GCP) – Remote

The Role

As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for leading cloud strategy, design, and implementation across AWS and GCP environments. You will work closely with clients, engineering teams, and stakeholders to drive successful cloud transformations and optimize cloud architectures for performance, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures on AWS and GCP.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through cloud adoption, migration, and optimization strategies.
• Develop and implement cloud security, networking, and automation best practices.
• Lead technical discussions, present solutions, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and expertise.
• Stay ahead of cloud technology trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on AWS and GCP.
• Consulting experience is a must—ability to work with clients, gather requirements, and deliver solutions effectively.
• Deep expertise in cloud networking, security, IAM, automation, and cost optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• AWS and GCP certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.
