Summary:
We are seeking a talented full-time backend Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support and enhance our customer-facing web applications that facilitate care coordination. You will work across all layers of our AI applications and contribute to the development of innovative solutions as we scale and expand our services. The ideal candidate thrives in solving complex problems, enjoys exploring new technologies, and is committed to delivering high-quality, efficient, and elegant solutions.

In 3 months…
· Get fully onboarded with Bamboo Health’s Advanced Analytics & AI team and familiarize yourself with our AI-driven applications and development processes.
· Gain hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and serverless computing using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
· Begin contributing to small-scale projects, such as writing and optimizing SQL queries and assisting in the development of AI-powered solutions.
In 6 months…
• Take ownership of end-to-end development tasks, including building and maintaining serverless applications.
• Gain deeper expertise in AWS Bedrock and agentic application development and begin integrating AI-driven components into our solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to deploy AI models into production environments.
• Contribute to process improvements and identify opportunities to optimize code and workflows.
In 12 months…
• Lead development efforts on AI-powered features and enhancements for Bamboo Health’s products.
• Build and maintain scalable, high-performance applications leveraging serverless computing and cloud infrastructure.
• Become a key contributor in shaping the team’s best practices, security standards, and cloud deployment strategies.
• Mentor new team members and actively participate in team knowledge-sharing sessions.
What You Need:
· 2+ years of experience in software development, AI, or cloud-based application development.
· Proficiency in Python and SQL for building and optimizing applications.
· Familiarity with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions).
· Interest in AWS Bedrock and agentic application development (hands-on experience is a plus).
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
· Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving AI and cloud trends.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of judgment and creativity in designing innovative solutions.
· Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly evolving environments. A remote work environment that supports high-quality virtual interactions with minimal distractions.
