Billingsley Company is seeking a roll-up-your-sleeves, results-oriented Vice President of Marketing to lead, inspire, and elevate our in-house marketing team. This is not a figurehead role- we’re looking for a working leader who thrives in the weeds, can move quickly from strategy to execution, and is as fluent in performance metrics as they are in brand storytelling.
You will oversee marketing across our diverse portfolio of multifamily properties, and will partner with the commercial and retail team, building integrated campaigns that drive leasing, sales, and long-term loyalty. You’ll own the digital customer journey, champion creative excellence, and deliver data-driven strategies that contribute directly to bottom-line results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead from the Front: Actively manage and mentor the marketing team while participating directly in campaign development, creative direction, and execution. You're not afraid to open a dashboard, build a deck, or jump into a design review.
- Revenue-Focused Strategy: Develop and execute marketing plans that drive leasing traffic, support retail tenants, increase sales velocity, and boost occupancy. Collaborate closely with leasing, sales, and development teams to align marketing with business objectives.
- Digital and CRM Leadership: Build high-performing campaigns across digital, social, and email channels. Own SEO, paid search, marketing automation, and analytics to optimize lead generation and conversion.
- Brand and Content Excellence: Own and evolve our brand identity across all assets. Direct the creation of marketing collateral, leasing center design, digital walkthroughs, websites, signage, and event experiences.
- Marketing Tech Stack Management: Leverage and train teams on tools like Matterport, Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, Salesforce, Canva, HubSpot, and Google Analytics to streamline content production and performance tracking.
- Partnership and PR Strategy: Build strategic alliances, PR opportunities, and sponsorships that amplify our brand presence and extend reach while maximizing budgets.
- Performance and Reporting: Define KPIs and regularly report marketing impact on traffic, leads, conversions, and resident or tenant satisfaction. Translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Budget and Vendor Oversight: Build and manage annual marketing budgets, media buys, and vendor relationships to deliver maximum ROI.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field; advanced degree a plus
- 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 4 years leading high-performing teams
- Demonstrated success driving revenue and occupancy through marketing strategy and execution
- Deep experience in digital marketing, CRM, content development, analytics, and branding
- Prior experience in real estate marketing, particularly multifamily communities
- Hands-on knowledge of marketing tools including Matterport, Adobe Creative Suite, Salesforce or HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Ads, Canva, and GA4
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
- Analytical mindset with a creative, proactive, and resourceful approach
