Vice President of Marketing

Founded in 1978 by Lucy and Henry Billingsley, the organization expertly builds, owns, and manages its properties, ensuring long-term client, resident, and partner return. Specializing in master-planned developments and principles of new urbanism, each Billingsley property signifies technology, convenience, and a vast array of amenities aimed to attract and retain tenants, residents, visitors, and employees. These amenities include art, sculpture, parks, trails, and outdoor public spaces. With over 5,000 acres in DFW, Billingsley has built 5 million SF of Commercial space, 550,000 SF of Retail, 9 million SF of Industrial, and over 10,000 units of Multi-Family.

You will oversee marketing efforts across our multifamily properties and collaborate closely with the commercial and retail teams, developing integrated campaigns that drive leasing traffic, sales velocity, and long-term tenant loyalty. You’ll own the digital customer journey — from awareness to conversion — and ensure brand and messaging consistency across every channel. This role requires someone who can move from strategy to execution quickly, lead a younger team with clarity and accountability, and deliver measurable, data-driven results that tie directly to business performance. You’ll be a core member of the leadership team, contributing to project timelines and strategic decision-making with a focus on marketing that delivers real impact.

Key Responsibilities

Results-Driven Execution

  • Bring a track record of success, with clear examples of past campaigns that increased leasing velocity, generated qualified leads, boosted occupancy, or supported tenant success.
  • Balance creative thinking with strategic execution and revenue outcomes.

Lead with Accountability & Mentorship

  • Actively guide and develop the marketing team. Model executional excellence, deliver constructive feedback, and instill a high-performance culture. Meet milestones and deadlines consistently.
  • Build and implement structured leadership systems — including weekly tactical check-ins, monthly strategy reviews, quarterly OKRs, and annual performance evaluations.

Strategic Project Management

  • Collaborate closely with internal departments — leasing, commercial, retail, and development — to manage deadlines, priorities, and campaigns from conception to delivery.
  • Ensure tight alignment across teams and consistent progress on marketing milestones and deadlines.

Integrated Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing plans that drive traffic, conversions, and retention across multifamily portfolio.
  • Oversee brand consistency and storytelling across all touchpoints, from signage and events to digital walkthroughs and leasing materials.

Digital & CRM Leadership

  • Lead campaign strategy and optimization across SEO, paid media, email, and social.
  • Own lead generation and customer journey mapping through platforms like Google Ads.

Creative & Brand Oversight

  • Direct the development of high-impact original brands for each new property — including websites, video tours, and branded environments — while maintaining brand consistency and creative excellence.

Partnerships & PR

  • Build relationships with vendors, media outlets, and strategic partners to elevate brand visibility and community engagement while maximizing budget impact.

Performance Reporting & Optimization

  • Define KPIs, track campaign performance, and deliver regular reporting on traffic, leads, conversions, and resident/tenant engagement. Use insights to iterate and improve.

Budget & Vendor Management

  • Establish the annual marketing budget and oversee external vendor relationships, ensuring resources are allocated for maximum ROI.
