Area Sales Manager - Tampa, FL | Full-Time

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to act as the “face” of BIOLYTE and help grow the brand’s footprint within their local market of Tampa! This person’s primary responsibilities are as follows: 

  1. Support existing customers within and around the territory

  2. Expand BIOLYTE into new chain and independent retail outlets

  3. Collaborate with DSD distributor team(s) to drive sales and achieve distribution targets


This individual will report to the Director of Sales


Definition of Success

Achieve 90 - 100% of your sales metrics while introducing the brand to local chain accounts, independent retail accounts, and consumers.


Responsibilities 

  • Support existing customers within and around the territory

    • Execute chain promotions in accounts

    • Support BIOLYTE’s retailers in creative ways

      • Set up eye-catching floor stands, signage, pallet drops, etc.

    • Enhance BIOLYTE’s location and placement in store to increase visibility for the customer

  • Expand BIOLYTE into new chain and independent retail outlets 

    • Open new independent and chain accounts (ie. convenience stores, grocery stores, country clubs, and boutique hotels)

      • Primarily activate new accounts that are serviced by BIOLYTE’s current traditional retail distributors

  • Collaborate with DSD distributor team(s) to drive sales and achieve distribution targets

    • Participate in crew drives and market blitzes alongside DSD partner sales representatives to increase brand visibility and stimulate sales

    • Provide guidance and support to DSD distributor team(s) regarding product knowledge, sales techniques, and brand messaging during field visits and meetings


Qualifications 

  • Traits: Self-starter, Energetic, Growth-Oriented, People-person, Persistent, Resilient, Insightful, Communicative, Attentive

  • 1+ year of beverage/CPG sales experience required

    • Experience working with DSD partners highly preferred

  • Currently lives in the metro Tampa area

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required

  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs

  • Must be able to bend, kneel, stand, and squat for extended periods of time

  • Occasional availability to work events after standard business hours and/or weekends

Travel 

  • Heavy travel throughout metro Tampa market

  • Occasional travel outside of metro Tampa

Compensation

  • Base depending on experience: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00

  • Monthly bonus opportunities
