About the Role
This is a back-office position working hand in hand with the Director of Operations and Operations leadership. You'll partner with our Logistics Specialists (dispatchers) to help drivers and trucks run as efficiently as possible, and you'll help make sure every load is fully closed out within three days of delivery.
This isn't a dispatch seat. You'll see how a load moves from planning to delivery, paperwork, invoicing, and final closeout, and you'll have a real hand in making it run better.
What You'll Do
- Help Logistics Specialists plan routes and keep drivers and trucks well utilized
- Find ways to cut deadhead and downtime and complete more loads with our existing fleet
- Support Logistics Specialists with load paperwork
- Follow up on missing or incorrect documents until they're resolved
- Finalize loads in Truckpedia so billing and invoicing go out on time
- Track key performance metrics and share reports with Operations leadership
What We're Looking For
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Comfort following a load from planning through billing
- A habit of asking, "Can we get one more load out of this week?"
- Experience in trucking, logistics, or transportation billing is a plus
What We Offer
- Competitive salary
- Full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k), among others
- Steady schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-site role at our Bloomington, Indiana office
- A stable, growing company with room to build a long-term career
- A team that treats you like a person, not a number
