Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 base salary
Location: 1 Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA (In-person role)
About the Role
We're hiring a Recruiter to build Blitzy's world-class team engineering team during our most critical growth phase. You'll partner directly with our executive leadership and hiring managers to source, engage, and close top-tier talent in a fast-moving, high-performance environment.
This is a hands-on, in-house recruiting role focused on full-cycle execution—from sourcing to offer acceptance. You'll own the candidate experience end-to-end while building the systems and processes that enable us to scale our team efficiently. Your work will directly shape the company's trajectory as we revolutionize software development.

- You proactively identify talent gaps and market trends, advising leadership on hiring strategy
Responsibilities
Full-Lifecycle Recruiting
- Source, screen, and manage candidates across engineering, sales, and operations roles
- Conduct initial phone screens that assess technical capabilities, culture fit, and motivation
- Coordinate complex interview schedules with multiple stakeholders while maintaining positive candidate experience
- Manage the offer process from comp discussions through acceptance, including reference checks and closing conversations
Pipeline Management
- Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines in Rippling and/or ATS
- Create targeted outbound sourcing campaigns via LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms
- Track and report on key recruiting metrics (time-to-hire, pipeline health, source effectiveness)
- Maintain organized documentation and ensure smooth handoffs between recruiting stages
Strategic Partnership
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and evaluation criteria
- Design effective interview loops that assess both technical capabilities and culture fit
- Provide market intelligence on compensation, talent availability, and competitive landscape
- Advise on employer branding and recruiting strategies to attract top talent
Candidate Experience
- Deliver a high-touch, personalized experience that reflects Blitzy's values and culture
- Maintain clear, timely communication throughout the candidate journey
- Gather and act on candidate feedback to continuously improve our recruiting process
- Serve as the primary ambassador of Blitzy's mission and culture to prospective hires
Required Experience
- 3-7 years of recruiting experience, ideally in startup or high-growth tech environments
- Proven track record hiring for engineering roles (backend, frontend, AI/ML) at a large scale
- Strong sourcing skills with demonstrated success using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
- Excellent communication abilities—you can excite engineers about technical challenges and sales candidates about market opportunities
- Exceptional organization and follow-through—you never drop balls and maintain detailed, actionable pipelines
- Comfort in fast-paced environments—you thrive on urgency and can balance multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience with ATS systems (Rippling experience preferred)
- Data-driven approach to recruiting with ability to track, analyze, and act on metrics
What Makes You Stand Out
- Prior in-house recruiting experience at a Series A-C startup that scaled rapidly
- Experience recruiting for AI/ML, developer tools, or enterprise SaaS companies
- Background in both technical and GTM recruiting, with deep networks in both domains
- Track record of building recruiting processes and systems from scratch
- Experience with employer branding initiatives or recruiting marketing
- Success closing candidates who had competing offers from top tech companies
- Familiarity with AI/GenAI talent market and unique challenges in recruiting for this space
- Previous experience recruiting in the Boston/Cambridge tech ecosystem
