We are seeking a proven Solutions Architect, who will successfully increase the sales and adoption of the Blue Ridge solution by designing customer-specific solutions, effectively demonstrating our value proposition, and providing technical thought leadership during both sales and implementation processes. The Solutions Architect will be a key member of the Blue Ridge Sales team and will also work closely with implementation and product management teams to design and deliver the complete solution for manufacturing prospects.
Responsibilities
• Architect solutions that most optimally address Manufacturing customer business requirements within the framework of defined and approved solutions
• Research and document the supported product and interface configurations for customer-specific implementations not addressed by pre-packaged Blue Ridge solutions
• Work closely with development, product management, implementation services, and support to successful delivery
• Work as part of a broader Sales team to contribute technical assets, prioritize, and shape solution direction, while impacting business and bookings
• Facilitate technical discussions with customers, partners, and Blue Ridge Account Executives as needed through all phases of customer engagements
• Provide customer and Manufacturing market feedback to product and engineering teams to help define product direction
• Provide support, utilities, and best practices to the sales teams, implementation services and customers during implementation
• Produce a design document to match customer requirements, including a reference architecture model for the customer-specific configuration and configuration requirements, allowing for the effective and timely provisioning and installation of the customer solution
• Review and transition design document to consulting project manager and product management (when applicable) prior to project kickoff
• Provide support in the form of domain expertise, as needed, for project meetings with the customer, internal projects, and pre-sales activities
Minimum Requirements
• 7+ years of professional experience, preferably in technical project leadership roles including Solutions Architect, Team Lead, Project Lead, Project Manager
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing planning consulting or implementation
• Strong customer-facing and presentation skills with the ability to establish credibility with executive decision makers
• Knowledge of technology solutions and ability to quickly ramp up on new technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Supply Chain technology space
• Ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally to position and orchestrate multiple products’ solutions while engaging/influencing varied audiences, including executives
• Demonstrated consulting skills, specifically in customer management and communication, as well as in project management
• Strong technical integration experience to document integration architecture designs and custom configurations with Development and Customer Success teams
Preferred Requirements
• Proven ability to design, implement, and document complex configurations of multiple integrated manufacturing software products to meet the business needs of a customer
• Knowledge of Blue Ridge or other supply chain planning solutions
• Business consulting experience
