We are seeking a dynamic and technically adept Director of Solution Consulting to lead the solutions architecture processes of our customer implementation projects. This role requires a unique blend of strategic leadership, customer engagement, and deep supply chain architectural expertise. The ideal candidate will have experience in solutions architecture in the supply chain processes of demand forecasting, manufacturing planning, inventory planning and optimization. This role will lead a team of Solutions Consultants, instituting best practices and training consultants in fulfilling customer needs with the Blue Ridge solution capabilities. The role reports directly to the Chief Customer Success Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and scale the Solutions Consulting team
- Institute best practices and drive continuous improvement in team processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Collaborate with Professional Services, Sales and Product Development to ensure cohesive go-to-market execution.
Client Engagement & Solution Design
- Lead effective Business Process Assessment workshops with customers to understand customer processes and use cases.
- Document customer’s business requirements and match them to Blue Ridge solution features to specify functional solution designs and technical system configurations.
- Architect end-to-end solutions that align with client goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
Technical Leadership
- Provide architectural oversight and guidance on complex solutions.
- Lead and facilitate customer discussions regarding ERP integration, orienting customers to the required fields in the Technical Guidebook and coordinating with Blue Ridge Integration Engineers in executing the systems integration.
- Ensure technical accuracy and feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Support project managers in managing scope to the contract and Functional Specifications Document.
- Review and approve solution proposals for key sales opportunities.
Team Development
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Solution Consultants.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Provide coaching and career development opportunities for team members.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, computer science or similar
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management.
- 5+ years of experience in implementing Software as a Service
- 2+ years in a leadership role managing solution architects or professional services teams.
- Proven experience designing and presenting complex supply chain solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with ERP system integrations.
- MBA or advanced technical degree
- Supply chain certifications
