What We're Looking For (Qualifications)
- Experience: 1 year of clinical dental assisting experience is preferred, but not required. We love training enthusiastic newcomers and dental assisting school graduates!
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, patient-focused approach to easing dental anxieties.
- Mindset: A naturally positive attitude, a strong work ethic, an eagerness to learn, and a highly collaborative team-player mindset.
- Safety & Compliance: This position is considered safety-sensitive and requires successfully passing a pre-employment drug screening. Bluetree and its affiliated practices are strictly committed to safety, following all CDC, OSHA, and American Dental Association (ADA) guidelines.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Clinical Chairside Assisting: Train to provide high-quality chairside assistance to our dentists during general and preventative dental procedures.
- Patient Experience: Warmly welcome patients, guide them through their appointments, and ensure they feel comfortable and cared for at every step.
- Clinic Operations: Prepare, sterilize, and turn over instruments and treatment rooms cleanly and efficiently according to strict safety protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with our frontline and clinical staff to maintain a smooth daily patient flow and an upbeat office vibe.
