About the role
BlueWave is seeking an Operations Manager on our Site Acquisition Team, this position will report to the Managing Director of Site Acquisition. The successful canididate will be working out of our office in the Back Bay area of Boston. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to supporting the Site Acquistion transactional team members to allow maximum focus on advancing and closing deals, managing site analysis volume and quality, managing a team of analysts and co-ops, maintaining a regular semi-annual cadence for co-op hiring, training and integration, tracking and managing the administrative work flow of deals from close to processing close-out, ensuring process fidelity, and leading process improvement where required.  The Operations Manager will manage relationships across various stakeholders internally and externally and maintain and coordinate real-time updates to BlueWave’s CRM (Salesforce). The successful candidate must have excellent organizational, time management, problem solving, leadership and decision-making skills.  

What you'll do
  • Motivate a team to analyze sites and process deal-related administrative tasks at volume
  • Synthesize data to manage a growing pipeline of many projects at varying stages of maturity through early stages of diligence efficiently
  • Track and document project details, steps and stages with relentless commitment to maximizing deal flow
  • Implement existing processes with high fidelity, identify process improvement needs
  • Maintain excellent internal customer service
  • Provide a cross functional liaison between key internal stakeholders
  • Manage vendors to a high-performance level
  • Set well aligned goals and backward plan
  • Forecast and track to balance business needs for real-time performance
  • Lead from the front to promote the buy-in of the team to work long hours, when needed, to get the job done
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5-10 years’ relevant experience with increasing responsibility, MBA preferred
  • Proven manager with experience hiring, training, motivating and developing strong teams
  • High energy, “people person,” who enjoys building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Sales operations experience 
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Track record of consistent productivity growth
  • Experience working in real estate development preferred (Solar/Renewables industry, Telecom, Commercial/Industrial)
  • Tech Savvy. Experience with Salesforce, GIS programs, AutoCad or similar a plus
