About the role
The Business Process Manager will play a key role in bridging the gap between IT and the business. They will work closely with functional teams to provide systems analysis to improve business processes. They will also be responsible for the successful implementation of those processes. This will include leveraging AI and machine learning to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation. They will also be responsible for overseeing third party consultants to ensure relevant projects are completed on time and within budget. Projects and priorities will vary depending on the needs of our growing business.


What you'll do
  • Analyze business needs and requirements, document the findings and propose solutions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging company data and systems to improve efficiency and enable the business.
  • Leverage AI and machine learning to identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for automation.
  • Develop and implement strategies for integrating AI into existing business systems and workflows.
  • Author and maintain the BlueWave documentation and knowledge database.
  • Ongoing training of employees to ensure effective roll-out of process and system improvements.
  • Oversee the organizational Change Management of new solutions to obtain buy-in from BlueWave team members.
  • Design, implement, and optimize automated workflows using business process management tools to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce errors.
  • Continuously evaluate new products in the market for potential implementation.
  • Mine and analyze data from company data sources to drive optimization and improvement of internal processes.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Business Process Manager.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Familiarity with real estate, construction or renewable energy industries a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
  • History of collecting workflow details, identifying critical paths, and implementing solutions to reduce time to completion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on establishing new processes and process improvement.
  • Financial management experience including budgeting, planning, forecasting, and project reporting. Experience with ProCore and Netsuite a strong plus.
  • Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field or commensurate experience.
