Accounting Manager

The role

As the Accounting Manager at BlytzPay, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This individual contributor role offers great potential for growth as our company continues its rapid scale.

What you'll do

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Experience in the fintech or payments industry is a plus.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
