Position Summary 

The Lead Employee Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of employees, providing guidance, support, and leadership to ensure efficient and effective operations. This role requires a hands-on leader with a proven track record of successfully managing personnel, fostering a productive and positive work environment, and ensuring team members meet performance goals. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential for collaborating with team members and management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage a team of personnel within the designated area of expertise.
  • Provide guidance, leadership, and support to team members to ensure successful and efficient operation.
  • Ensure high levels of performance and productivity among team members through mentoring, training, and regular feedback.
  • Monitor work processes and provide oversight to ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to ensure smooth operation and understanding across teams and departments.
  • Address and resolve any personnel issues, conflicts, or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain and improve the quality of work within the team by applying expertise and knowledge in the specialty area.
  • Prepare reports, documents, and communications as necessary in English for management or other relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

Required Background and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent supervisory experience (within the last 5 years).
  • Demonstrated successful work experience in the specific area of specialty.
  • Proficiency in both oral and written communications in English.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members and other departments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional qualifications or certifications related to the area of expertise.
  • Previous experience in Federal industry preferred.


Physical Demands

Sitting/Standing: This role is generally sedentary performing sitting work utilizing technological office equipment including a laptop, mouse, keyboard, computer monitors, telephones, and scanners, copiers, and fax machines.

Walking: This role requires the ability to move about inside the office to access the technological equipment required for the role.

Stooping/Kneeling/Crouching/Crawling: This role may require stooping to reload printer trays with print paper.

Using Hands/Fingers: This role constantly operates (100% of workday) technological office equipment such as laptop, mouse, keyboard, computer monitors, telephones, scanners, copiers, and fax machines.

Talking/Hearing: This role requires constant communication with others in the organization to exchange information, review information, and make decisions about information.

Seeing: This role requires the ability to see, view, and distinguish all aspects of construction.

Carrying/Lifting: This role requires the ability to lift up to 15lbs to transport technological office equipment to and from various workspaces.
