Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Student Services Project Manager to oversee and manage a variety of student support services for a federal contract in Charleston, SC. The candidate will have extensive experience in federal contract management and a strong background in coordinating student services such as firearms, motor pool & vehicle maintenance, shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, inventory management, postal services, transportation, role player services, and computer lab management. The candidate will also demonstrate proficiency in basic computer skills for data entry, reporting, and correspondence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of student services as outlined in the federal contract, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of services.
- Coordinate and manage services such as firearms, motor pool & vehicle maintenance, shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, inventory management, postal services, transportation, role player services, and computer lab management.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff involved in student support services, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Collaborate with federal stakeholders to ensure compliance with all contract requirements, policies, and regulations.
- Review and manage operational reports, identify issues, and recommend solutions to improve service delivery.
- Ensure appropriate documentation and record-keeping for all student services activities.
- Input and manage data within the system to track performance and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop, maintain, and implement policies and procedures for student services in accordance with contract specifications.
- Communicate regularly with clients and team members to provide updates on project status and resolve any issues or concerns.
Qualifications and Experience
Required Background and Experience:
- At least 5 years of recent (within the past 10 years) responsible experience in Federal Contract Management.
- Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of various student support services such as firearms, motor pool & vehicle maintenance, shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, inventory management, postal services, transportation, role player services, and computer lab management.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to input data into systems and generate various reports and correspondence as required.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Federal contract management certification or relevant training is a plus.
- Experience working with government contracts and adhering to federal policies and regulations.
Physical Demands
- Sitting/Standing: The position generally requires sitting for extended periods while working at a desk or computer, but may also involve occasional standing, walking, or light physical activity during site visits or inspections.
- Walking: Some work may require standing or walking for extended periods when conducting site assessments, managing facilities, or overseeing the operations of various services like warehouse or transportation operations.
- Stooping/Kneeling/Crouching/Crawling: This role may require occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and ladder climbing to inspect all aspects of facilities or projects.
- Using Hands/Fingers: This role constantly operates technological office equipment such as laptop, mouse, keyboard, computer monitors, telephones, and scanners, copiers, and fax machines.
- Talking/Hearing: The role requires effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Seeing: This role requires the ability to see, view, and distinguish all aspects of projects, environments and facilities whether indoor and outside.
- Carrying/Lifting: The role may require the occasional lifting of light to moderate weight (up to 25-30 lbs) when carrying project materials, supplies, or documents during site visits or inspections.
