About the role:

We’re looking for highly experienced Physical Design Engineers to lead the end-to-end physical implementation of complex ASICs on advanced technology nodes.


What you'll do:

  • Drive the physical design of complex ASICs on leading edge nodes, improving design methodologies and collaborating with other teams
  • Perform complete netlist to GDS physical design steps (floor planning, timing closure, IR/EM analysis, formal verification, layout verification)
  • Participate in co-design with R&D, frontend, and verification teams

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of physical design experience with industry-standard tools, languages, and methodologies (Synopsys, Cadence flows)
  • Expertise in logic synthesis, P&R, timing closure, STA
  • Experience with leading edge nodes below 12nm, preferably below 7nm
  • Experience with high speed memory technologies (GDDR, DDR, LPDDR, HBM), high speed interfaces (UCIe, SerDes), and packaging technologies
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills

Compensation Range: $150,000–$220,000 per year (California). This range represents the anticipated base pay for this role; the final offer may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location.
