Digital Marketing Specialist (Contractor)

We’re looking for a contract digital marketing specialist to support paid marketing, lifecycle efforts, and a variety of growth projects in the EdTech space.


This role is for someone who understands #PaidMarketing and #MetaAds, enjoys testing and iteration, and is comfortable navigating evolving priorities and working effectively without a rigid playbook. We’re thoughtful, collaborative, and a little scrappy—and we’re looking for someone who’s a good fit for the team.  This is an hourly contract role through June 30, 2026, with the potential to extend or evolve based on fit and business needs.

What you’d work on

  • Supporting and running our emerging paid #B2C campaigns in Meta Business Suite #MetaAds
  • Testing messaging, creative, and audiences with a #GrowthMarketing mindset
  • Assisting with #EmailMarketing and basic lifecycle campaigns
  • Supporting organic social and light content execution within our #B2BMarket
  • Pitching in on additional marketing projects as needed (campaign support, QA, coordination, light ops)
  • Light support for Google Ads or other channels where appropriate (not a primary focus)


What we’re looking for

  • Experience working in paid marketing, especially paid social
  • Comfort operating in lean environments where creative testing and thoughtful budget stewardship matter
  • Comfortable inside Meta Business Suite and interpreting performance signals
  • Organized enough to keep things moving, flexible enough to roll with change
  • Able to examine results, communicate insights, and suggest next steps
  • #HubSpot experience is a plus


Role details

  • Contract role: Term through June 30, 2026, with potential to extend or evolve
  • Up to 30–33 hours per week at $35/hour, with a monthly cap of $5,000.
