About the role

What you'll do

• Responsible for the monthly accounting close including preparing journal entries, analyzing and explaining fluctuations, and providing meaningful financial reporting

• Understand relevant accounting principles and communicate such principles to the team and business partners

• Analyze current procedures and make recommendations to develop and drive process improvements to achieve efficiency and scalability

• Operate with minimum supervision

• Special projects and impromptu reporting on request

• Review transactions to ensure accounting treatment is in accordance with GAAP and company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

• Advanced MS Excel skills and experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong knowledge of and experience with US GAAP and accounting operations

• CPA and recent Big Four experience highly preferred

• Experience in a technology or high-growth company operating in a SOX environment

• Bachelor’’s degree in accounting or equivalent field

• NetSuite Experience

Total Compensation Package; Including Benefits and Stock:

• Base: $65,000 - $90,000 a year; Depending on Experience and Qualifications

• Medical, vision, dental, life: $10,000 - $16,000 a year; Depending on Individual or Family Plan

• Equity: Our vision is to take BoomPop to the moon; Total Estimated Value for this Role is $50,000+
