About the role

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Director to drive revenue growth and scale their own BoomPop sales team. As a Sales Director at BoomPop, you will lead and develop a team of Account Executives and Account Directors, reach (and exceed!) your team’s revenue goals, and continually cultivate your team’s culture. This role reports to the Head of Sales, and you will be a key member of contributing to and executing on BoomPop’s sales and GTM strategy.

What you'll do

  • Hire, train, and develop a team of full-cycle Account Executives and Account Directors

  • Enhance the sales, product, and industry skills of each team member

  • Support your team throughout the sales cycle to secure and expand five- and six-figure accounts

  • Closely track and regularly report on team and individual performance metrics

  • Identify areas for improvement in processes, efficiency, and productivity, and make recommendations

  • Collaborate with revenue operations, customer success, and marketing to ensure excellent and efficient sales performance

  • Engage with the largest strategic opportunities on your team, cultivating relationships with Decision Makers and Economic Sponsors at target accounts, helping the team win new customers

  • Support and coach sales representatives both within day to day execution, sales calls and customer communication, but contribute to larger strategic initiatives

Qualifications

  • 6+ years selling to SMB, Mid-Market, and enterprise organizations, preferably at a SaaS company

  • 2-4+ years sales leadership experience in a high-tech startup environment

  • Prior success leading a team while simultaneously contributing to the execution of deals in partnership with direct reports

  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Proven ability to recruit, retain, and develop a team from the ground up

  • Familiarity with SaaS sales processes and sales methodologies (BANT / MEDDICC)

  • Experience managing and optimizing full-cycle sales representative KPIs

  • Competency with CRM software and sales analytics tools

Occasional Travel: Connecting is in our DNA, please note that we anticipate roughly 3-4 nights of travel per quarter for this role.

Total Compensation Package; Including Benefits and Stock:

  • Base: $100,000 - $120,000 a year; $200,000 OTE; Depending on Experience and Qualifications

  • Medical, vision, dental, life: $10,000 - $16,000 a year; Depending on Individual or Family Plan

  • Equity: Our vision is to take BoomPop to the moon; Total Estimated Value for this Role is $50,000+
