Overview:

The Retail Operations Coordinator will assist in the business operations of Born Primitive’s retail/wholesale department. This includes, but is not limited to, customer service, back-end website management, inventory logistics, and partner management.

 

Your Job Responsibilities Will Include:

      Maintain thorough knowledge of our brand by fully learning, understanding and embodying our brand ethos.

      Establish and maintain relationships with our retail, wholesale, & independent rep agency partners by:

o   Providing direct support to partners, making sure operational efficiency is maintained.

o   Assisting inquiring wholesalers with any questions, contract completion, and account set up through the wholesale email account.

o   Providing support to active wholesale customers in relation to order status, shipment inquiries, and communication of product launches & availability.

o   Creating & sending email campaigns for quarterly updates & product/collection launches & availability.

      Learn and master Net Suite & NuOrder, our ERP and primary wholesale platform, to efficiently manage the backend of our wholesale business

      Keep wholesale websites aligned with the US Direct to Consumer website:

o   Ensuring proper sync of products, inventory, and images to NuOrder & international wholesale platforms appropriately

o   Merchandising collections & sales sheets and sharing sales sheets with customers.

o   Ensuring all assets are delivered to retail partners in a timely fashion

      Process Purchase Orders, create Sales Orders on behalf of wholesale customers when needed, and process invoices/payments

      Provide support to the Retail Sales team during selling & shipping seasons:

o   Assist with the placement and coordination of sample orders

o   Preparation of show room for selling season meetings

o   Creation of CAD slides to reflect retailer orders

o   Assist with data entry into EDI systems when needed

      Work with the Retail team to ensure departmental needs are met.

Minimum Qualifications:

      Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

      Net Suite & NuOrder experience

      Experience in apparel industry (preferred)

      Adobe Illustrator experience (preferred)

      Organizational skills to finish tasks in a timely and correct manner

      Attention to detail

 

Required Characteristics:

      Ability to thrive in a quickly growing and very fast paced work environment

      Ability to meet deadlines while tasked with multiple projects

      Excellent communication skills

      Must be available to work on site Monday through Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm


Physical Requirements:

This is a primarily sedentary position, however, standing desks are available for use. Associates may occasionally climb stairs, bend, stoop, walk, lift up to 10 lbs., and crouch as needed. Rarely associates in this position may be asked to push/pull up to 50 lbs., work in extreme conditions (heat/cold), and/or travel on a voluntary basis.
