BotBuilt is creating flexible robotic systems to solve the housing crisis.

We work with traditional home builders to make their construction process faster, safer, and more precise. We've already shipped multiple homes worth of framing components for many different kinds of houses. Our building process is enabled by a cross-functional team that leverages the latest advancements in machining, hardware design, robotics, computer vision, optimization, and algorithm design to automate the build process. 

What you'll do at BotBuilt

We're a diverse group attacking a multi-faceted problem. Here are some ways you can help:

• Assemble and maintain robotic systems, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components.
• Build wiring harnesses and integrate electrical systems into robotic assemblies.
• Install and troubleshoot pneumatic actuators, valves, and air supply systems.
• Assist with the installation and calibration of robotic tooling and sensors.
• Work closely with engineers to refine designs and improve manufacturability.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in robotic systems.
• Develop and document best practices for robot assembly and maintenance.
• Keep the shop organized, safe, and efficient.
• Inspire the people around you!

Your qualifications

You're hands-on, excited about building things, and eager to take on complex challenges. You take ownership of your work, enjoy solving problems, and want to be part of a team that’s changing how homes are built.

We’d love to hear from you if you have experience with:

• Mechanical assembly of robots, machines, or automation equipment.
• Wiring and electrical work, including harness building and troubleshooting.
• Pneumatic systems, including actuators, solenoids, and air supply management.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Operating CNC mills, laser cutters, or other fabrication tools.
• Basic programming or control system experience (bonus but not required).
