Talent Sourcer (Contract)

Breef is seeking a Talent Sourcer (Contract) to support our team’s recruiting efforts. This individual will help build a robust talent pipeline with searches across Marketing, Creative, Sales and other functions as needed.


You will source and screen candidates across a variety of pipelines, partnering closely with our Co-Founders and Hiring Managers. You will be the first point of contact with candidates and drive the introduction process of qualified candidates to the respective Hiring Manager for additional screening.


Your day-to-day will include:


  • Partner with stakeholders to understand specific needs to attract and engage with top talent.

  • Find, engage, and activate passive candidates through the use of Boolean, LinkedIn, and alternative search techniques. Additionally, you’ll provide inbound sourcing support for roles with a high volume of applicants or similar candidate profiles.

  • Utilize various recruiting and social platforms to promote and attract candidates to open roles.

  • Drive all candidate introductions - documenting all touch points and relevant updates around a candidate’s status. 

  • Connect candidates to hiring managers based on relevant requirements and feedback. 

  • Support screening calls for particular roles as needed.

  • Craft and send recruiting communications; using consistent company guidelines across candidates. 

  • Keeping our ATS database up-to-date. 


You'll be successful in this role if you have:


  • 4+ years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, or a similar role - startup experience is a plus.

  • Proven success in developing strong talent pipelines, ideally within various business lines (Marketing, Creative,Sales, Tech, etc.).

  • Hands-on experience with various sourcing tools + LinkedIn Recruiter. 

  • Experience acting in a consultative manner where your guidance has improved recruitment efficiency.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information effectively.

  • Familiarity with inclusive and objective sourcing practices.

  • Understanding of and experience with modern and remote workplace and HR tools (such as Asana, Slack, email workflow systems, etc.).


This is a contract position requiring about 15-30 hours per week. Hours and workflow will be discussed during the interview process.
