About the role
The Accounts Payable Associate provides high level client service, conducting treasury and bill pay needs for clients with significant assets under management and complex financial needs.
What you'll do
Deliver excellence in the client experience by providing:
- Bill-pay functions for individuals, trusts, and business entities, including but not limited to executing payments via check, ACH, and wire transfer in accordance with payment schedules.
- Support for clients’ cash management, banking, and treasury needs.
- Internal administrative support, such as monitoring internal team email and hard copy mail, document scanning, internal file management, calendar management, and CRM system maintenance.
- Responding to internal and external inquiries from vendors and the Family Office team with professionalism and discretion.
- Vendor management by maintaining up-to-date and accurate vendor information, including W9’s and banking details.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
- Experience working in a team environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field.
- Experience working with ultra-high net worth clients.
Required Skills:
- Client-focused mentality, responsive to client needs, diplomatic in approach, tactful in all types of client situations.
- Advanced communication and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent skills in organization and attention to detail.
- Advanced time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Basic understanding of cash management, financial statements and bookkeeping.
- Intermediate PC skills, including Microsoft Excel.
