The Role

As a Recruiter (Freelance) at BRIGHTSCOUT, you will play a key role in helping us identify, attract, and engage exceptional global talent. You will partner closely with our Talent Manager and hiring managers to manage the full recruitment lifecycle while proactively building strong pipelines to support future hiring needs.

Your primary focus will be sourcing and engaging designers, developers, and other digital talent, while helping us build a curated network of high-quality freelance collaborators. Beyond filling open roles, you’ll help us establish long-term relationships with talented professionals who may collaborate with us on future projects. You will source talent across global markets, primarily in Latin America, the United States, and Europe.

This is a freelance, hourly engagement with an expected commitment of approximately 3–4 hours per day before 5 pm ET, on average, depending on hiring needs.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication
  • Partner with the Talent Manager and hiring managers to understand role requirements and support hiring needs across teams
  • Proactively source and engage design, development, and digital talent across global markets
  • Build and maintain long-term talent pipelines, including a curated network of freelance collaborators for future projects
  • Conduct screening interviews to evaluate candidate experience, skills, and alignment with BRIGHTSCOUT’s culture and values
  • Present qualified candidates and curated shortlists to the internal team
  • Maintain accurate candidate pipelines and regularly update information in the ATS or Notion
  • Ensure a positive, professional, and transparent candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Share talent market insights and sourcing strategies to support future hiring decisions

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
  • Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment
  • Experience recruiting for design, development, and digital roles
  • Experience recruiting within a design, development, or digital agency is strongly preferred
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Rippling
  • Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Ability to proactively build and nurture talent pipelines
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve sourcing, candidate research, and recruiting efficiency
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Fluent English (written and verbal)
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple pipelines
  • Availability for an estimated 3–4 hours per day before 5 pm ET (flexible, depending on hiring needs)
