The Role

As a Web Designer at BRIGHTSCOUT, you will play a key role in crafting visually compelling, highly functional websites that stand out through narrative-driven design, storytelling, and interactive experiences. Your work will go beyond aesthetics—each website should strategically guide users, drive engagement, and optimize conversions, particularly in the B2B space, where clarity, usability, and lead generation are essential.

B2B websites require a thoughtful balance between brand storytelling and conversion-driven design, ensuring that every visual and interactive element reinforces the brand identity while guiding users toward key business actions such as inquiries, sign-ups, and product engagement. You will be responsible for translating complex brand identities into digital experiences that leverage interaction, motion, and layout to tell a compelling story while driving meaningful results.

This role demands a deep understanding of web design as a unique medium, where structure, usability, and creativity must align seamlessly. Responsibilities

• Create visually compelling, high-impact website designs that blend storytelling, interaction, and brand expression.
• Design structured, conversion-focused web experiences, ensuring clarity, usability, and brand consistency.
• Develop high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and scalable design systems in Figma for seamless implementation.
• Build and maintain component libraries and web design systems, optimizing workflows for efficiency and consistency.
• Guide motion and visual designers to align animations, illustrations, and interactive elements with the overall website vision.
• Translate brand identity into digital storytelling, leveraging layout, interaction, and motion to create immersive web experiences.
• Transform project requirements into visually compelling, user-centered design solutions that support business objectives.
• Work with clients and stakeholders to define goals and bring bold, strategic design ideas that elevate digital experiences.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to push creative boundaries in web design.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
• Participate in design critiques and feedback loops, refining and strengthening designs through collaboration.
• Clearly communicate design rationale and decisions, ensuring alignment between creative vision and development feasibility.
• Support the handoff process to development teams, ensuring accurate translation of designs into high-quality, functional websites.
• Conduct visual QA after development, reviewing implemented designs to ensure they match specifications, maintain visual integrity, and meet quality standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in web/UI design, preferably in an agency setting, with a strong emphasis on creating visually compelling and conversion-driven digital experiences.
• A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality web designs, demonstrating a deep understanding of visual storytelling, interaction, and structured layouts for B2B websites.
• Expertise in Figma (including component creation, design systems, and scalable UI frameworks), along with proficiency in FigJam and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to design for scalability, ensuring cohesive and adaptable design systems for seamless implementation.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating design concepts, justifying design decisions, and collaborating effectively with team members and clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills, thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining a detail-driven and structured approach to projects.
• Openness to constructive feedback, with the ability to iterate and refine designs based on stakeholder and team input.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset, with a keen eye for detail, ensuring pixel-perfect execution and high-quality design standards.
• Eagerness to stay ahead of industry trends, continuously refining skills, learning new technologies, and integrating best practices into design work.

• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus to facilitate better collaboration with developers.
