The Role
As a Senior Digital Project Manager at Brightscout, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for complex digital projects. Your role will involve driving project vision, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives, and supporting junior project managers. You will leverage your deep understanding of technology, branding, and user experience to guide cross-functional teams in delivering innovative solutions that exceed client expectations. Your expertise in risk management, stakeholder communication, and process optimization will be critical in ensuring successful project delivery and fostering long-term client relationships.
This role is expected to work fully under ET hours.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex, high-visibility projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and optimal cost-effectiveness.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies, and ensure effective communication of project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing effective contingency plans.
- Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and management.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions, providing insights and recommendations based on project experience and industry trends.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the project management function.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and effective communication.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive project management experience, with a focus on managing complex projects.
- Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and support team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
- PMP or other relevant project management certification preferred.
- Experience with portfolio management is a big plus.
