We are looking for an Employee Relations Manager to support employee relations across the organization - both our corporate and clinical teams. This role will report directly to our Director, People Business Partner.  In this role, you will serve as a partner on all employee and team member ER cases, including investigations, performance improvement plans, formal warnings, and more. You will partner closely with our Compliance Team, Quality Team and all people managers to ensure we are holding the highest quality bar possible in service of our members. You’ll have the opportunity to elevate our processes and partner with key stakeholders to determine how we operate ER at scale moving forward. You will need to be comfortable navigating the complexities of a mix-workforce model within tele-mental health.  


What you’ll be doing as a Employee Relations Manager: 


  • Provide guidance and direction to team members and managers regarding company HR policies and procedures that champion Brightside’s vision, values and culture

  • Recommend and facilitate effective solutions for addressing workplace concerns and escalate as applicable for further investigation

  • Support People Business Partners on employee inquiries by interpreting policies and providing consistent practices

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and required documentation of activities to ensure quality employee records and metrics

  • Collaborates with Compliance, Quality, HR, and Talent 

  • Coordinates with people managers on employee communication and follow up

  • Recommends or takes appropriate actions to address concerns as needed

  • Provides front-line support in the prevention, resolution, and referral of employee questions or concerns


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of successful employee relations experience in health tech or related industries 

  • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, statutes, which govern employment policies and practices

  • Experience working different employee and team member populations (e.g. corporate, clinical, 1099, W2)

  • Thorough understanding and application of internal and external Brightside principles, concepts, practices and standards

  • Experience successfully implementing programs and procedures across geographically distributed teams

  • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas

  • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; must be an articulate and persuasive communicator

  • Ability to assess an organization, identify gaps, and develop solutions

The pay range for this role is:

75,000 - 85,000 USD per year (Remote - United States)
