Brightside is hiring a Financial Analyst to provide immediate impact through reporting, forecasting, and financial analytics. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Finance while regularly interacting with all departments across the company to drive financial and strategic decision making.


What you’ll be doing as Financial Analyst:

  • Building and maintaining financial reports, forecasts, and budgets 

  • Analyzing and evaluating internal financial data to identify areas for improvement or cost-saving 

  • Working alongside accounting, revenue cycle, and payroll departments to prepare and automate reporting

  • Conducting ad-hoc cross-functional analysis and analyzing results to support strategic decision making across the organization

  • Generating materials for the leadership team and board of directors 


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in finance related roles

  • Strong analytical skills; proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting (Excel and GSuite)

  • Excellent communication skills; able to communicate complex financial information to collaborators across departments
