POSITION SUMMARY

Broadvoice is looking for a Software Engineer (AI) to support the development of AI-powered features that improve both our internal processes and customer-facing products. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their skills in applied AI, experiment with Large Language Models (LLMs), and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to bring new ideas to life.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in building and integrating AI solutions (e.g., chatbots, intelligent assistants, knowledge retrieval tools) into Broadvoice’s products.
  • Experiment with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama) to identify practical use cases for automation and customer experience.
  • Apply prompt engineering techniques and basic fine-tuning to improve model outputs.
  • Work with APIs, web services, and databases to connect AI features with existing systems.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to implement AI solutions in scalable, production-ready environments.
  • Stay curious about new AI trends and tools, and share learnings with the team.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Some experience (professional, academic, or personal projects) with LLMs, NLP, or machine learning.
  • Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, and ability to work with APIs.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) or willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of databases and data structures; exposure to vector databases (nice to have).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-moving environment.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
