ML Engineer

Bronco helps industrial firms unlock their enterprise data and bring AI to the real world. Bronco's AI system crawls and maps out legacy data systems and automates downstream analytics and application-building.

About the role

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Bronco AI, you will join a team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of large language models, multimodal models, LLM-agent orchestration, and retrieval over sprawling legacy data systems. You will have the opportunity to work on bleeding-edge ML problems, such as the orchestration of LLM pipelines, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic flows, to deliver scalable, efficient, and effective AI solutions. H100s available.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement advanced machine learning models, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) and complex retrieval, to solve complex problems and enhance our AI capabilities.
  • Utilize our GPU clusters for efficient training, finetuning, and inference of AI models, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Develop smart orchestration strategies for LLM pipelines, including the integration of RAG and agentic flows, to improve model responsiveness and accuracy.
  • Explore and implement efficient inference techniques to reduce computational costs and improve the speed of model predictions without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and integrate AI solutions into our product offerings seamlessly.
  • Stay ahead of the curve in AI research, particularly in the areas of LLMs, to continually improve our technologies and methodologies.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of our AI expertise, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, or evidence of exceptional talent.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with AI/ML libraries and frameworks such as PyTorch.
  • Research production background is ideal.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex, non-trivial AI challenges, particularly in orchestrating LLM pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a track record of successful collaboration in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
