About the role

As a founding silicon engineer at Bronco AI, you will complement our team's rich AI background by lending your domain expertise in helping build intelligent reasoning systems for chip verification. 

The ideal candidate is an experienced silicon engineer, chip designer, or verification engineer who seeks to get closer to the cutting edge of AI and work in a high-ownership, high-velocity environment. 

What you'll do

• Have high ownership and direction over the architecture of the domain-specific reasoning system.

• Provide feedback to help train the AI.

• Directly work on the Generative AI system via prompt engineering, synthetic data, etc.

• Inform product direction using knowledge of industry standard workflows

• Co-develop with the AI and execute comprehensive verification plans and testbenches.

• Stay current with industry trends in both chip design and AI technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred

• 4+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC design and verification

• Strong expertise in digital verification, with emphasis on SystemVerilog and UVM (Universal Verification Methodology

• Proficiency in scripting languages and strong programming experience

• Familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools

• Interest in AI and machine learning applications in chip design and verification

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
