Forward Deployed Software Engineer

About the role

As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer at Bronco, you will bridge between our AI platform and the real-world challenges faced by our clients. This position involves both deep technical work and direct client engagement, ensuring our solutions are not only innovative but also practical and aligned with our clients' needs. You will interface with some of the most important people at the most foundational firms in the world.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business processes, challenges, and objectives to tailor AI-driven solutions that address their specific needs.
  • Develop, deploy, and integrate software solutions into client environments, ensuring they are scalable, robust, and deliver tangible results.
  • Act as a technical liaison between the client and Bronco AI’s development teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa.
  • Conduct on-site visits (as needed) to better understand client operations, troubleshoot issues, and provide hands-on support during the implementation phase.
  • Provide training and support to clients, empowering them to effectively use and maintain the deployed solutions.
  • Continuously monitor deployed solutions, gathering feedback for improvements, and implementing updates to enhance performance and user satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of the latest technologies and methodologies in software development and AI to drive innovation within the team and deliver cutting-edge solutions to our clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, or evidence of exceptional talent.
  • Experience with AI and ML technologies, or experience in traditional business operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++, and experience with web technologies (CSS, JavaScript).
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work on complex projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel and work closely with clients in diverse industries and geographical locations.
