About the role

• We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer, Full Stack to design, develop, and optimize our case processing and management system. In this role, you will ensure the delivery of reliable, scalable, and secure software systems that power critical legal workflows, supporting our mission to innovate in the legal space.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack web applications that power legal automation workflows — from document processing and CRM integrations to client-facing dashboards.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams to translate complex legal processes into intuitive, performant, and reliable software systems.
• Develop scalable backend and API services in Python and TypeScript, integrating with cloud infrastructure and third-party platforms (e.g., HubSpot, PandaDoc).
• Build and optimize responsive front-end interfaces in React to support high-volume legal operations and document workflows.
• Work within DevOps and platform engineering initiatives including infrastructure automation, deployment pipelines, environment standardization, and CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflows and accelerate feature delivery while ensuring reliability and security.
• Build applications within AWS infrastructure (Lambda, S3, EventBridge, Step Functions, CloudWatch) using AWS CDK and Infrastructure as Code principles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, including full-stack development.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, and modern front-end frameworks (React preferred).
• Strong experience building RESTful and event-driven backend services.
• Experience building third-party applications and integrations.
• Experience with AWS and infrastructure as code (AWS CDK or equivalent).
• Experience with CI/CD systems, automated testing frameworks, and containerization (e.g., Docker, GitHub Actions).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business/product requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with serverless architectures and event-driven design patterns.
• Background in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering, with an emphasis on automation and reliability.
• Experience integrating with CRMs and external SaaS platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
• Exposure to secure data handling, access control, and compliance requirements in regulated industries.
• Comfortable leading technical discussions and influencing architecture decisions.
