Key Responsibilities:
Expertly manage, maintain, and optimize data warehousing solutions utilizing Snowflake.
Implement and monitor robust ETL processes in Python, ensuring effective data integration.
Utilize dbt to transform data within Snowflake, maintaining best practices in data modeling.
Design and implement solution architectures tailored to data engineering needs.
Conduct advanced data analysis, integrate analytics tools, and present findings to support strategic decisions.
Prepare data for use in both prescriptive and predictive models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide tailored data solutions.
Ensure the highest standards of data quality, integrity, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data, continually improving processes using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, with demonstrated expertise in:
Snowflake (expert level)
dbt (proven hands-on experience)ETL processes using Python (extensive experience)
Proficiency in SQL and database design.
Experience with AWS cloud services.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in Snowflake, dbt, or other relevant data engineering tools.
Experience in the health-tech industry, with knowledge of data privacy and security regulations such as HIPAA.
Skills:
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Effective problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on data quality and accuracy.
Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
