Temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist (3-Month Project)

Buckeye Power Sales is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our team for a 3-month project. The primary focus of this role will be to clean up a backlog of receivables, ensuring timely and accurate processing of outstanding invoices, payments, and account reconciliations. This is a Hybrid position requiring in office presence twice a week for the first 30 days, then once a week thereafter.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and resolving overdue accounts and outstanding invoices
  • Processing payments, adjustments, and reconciliations
  • Communicating with customers to follow up on outstanding balances
  • Assisting in streamlining AR processes for efficiency

Requirements

  • Conforms with the core values of BPS.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 18+ years of age
  • Knowledge and experience in accounts receivables, collections, and lien processing
  • Proficient and accurate in data entry
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High ability to multi-task
  • Works well with others; team player
  • Able to work well unsupervised and independently
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attendance; dependable
  • Computer skills to include MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook); 10-key by touch
